When it comes to food, we have to agree that Taiwan is one of the countries that did a really good job of creating food trends—just like the boba milk tea that you love. Recently, a small food chain in Taiwan is gaining attention thanks to their creatively shaped egg pancake.
This Taiwanese fast-food chain stall called YesMade that specialized in pancake pops is selling pancakes shaped like the whole roasted chickens. These ‘roast chickens’ are made from the same batter as the regular pancakes but just shaped differently—thanks to their custom-made pancake iron which features small chicken-shaped molds.
They looked exactly like a whole roasted chicken!

YesMade currently has three food stalls in Taiwan, one at Feng Chia Night Market in Taichung, and the other two in the Hsinchu and Zhongli district of Taoyuan. These chicken-shaped pancake pops are selling in packs on 5 priced between 40TWD ($1.30) and 50TWD ($1.60)—depending on the flavor.
These cute pancakes are available in five staple flavors which are originals, cocoa, matcha, cheese and peanut cocoa.

The pancake stall also has a secret flavor that changes periodically. Their past secret flavorings include vanilla Oreo, yam, lava egg yolk, and bubble tea (can’t miss this one out!).
