Have you ever experience drinking boba but all the pearls stuck in the bottom and you unwillingly have to finish the tea first?
Inspired by this troublesome situation, two Taiwanese designers from Shih Chien University Taipei Campus, Wu Tianyu and Shi Fang come up with an interesting idea. Taking the Taiwanese tea culture as their main focus, Wu Tianyu and Shi Fang created non-straw glass cup for bubble tea called Float.
Float: The non-straw glass cup is made for drinking your favorite bubble tea.

Made of a few simple components,

And will turn out like this.

Float uses the concept of double cups with one smaller cup inside the larger cup that exists to hold on the pearls and keep it floating in your drinks. So you don’t have to struggle to get your pearls at the bottom of the cup or trying to finish your drink as fast as you can so you can get hold of the pearls at the bottom.
Even better, you no longer need a straw when drinking bubble tea with this cup too.

Your pearls will keep on floating and not stuck at the bottom of your cup.

And you’re ready to go!

What more amazing, Float is made of environmentally-friendly recycled glass provided by the Spring Pool Glass which reduces the environmental pollution at the same time. Thanks to this sustainable idea, Wu Tianyu and Shi Fang recently won the New Generation Golden Point Rookie Design Award—Industry-School Cooperation Gold Award.
The cup uses environmentally-friendly recycled glass, so it is safe for the environment and safe for you.

You can wash it and use it again.

Together with Chunchi Glass Industry Co. Ltd., they are currently designing this recycled glass cup and now in the manufacturing process.
It was said that this cup will be available and coming our way in winter 2019.
Can’t wait to get one for me!
