Tomas Nunuk and his friend went on a hike in the High Tatras in Slovakia when they came across a pleasant surprise in the form of a frozen lake.
The surface of the frozen lake was crystal clear that the two hikers seemed to walk on a sheet of glass!
The 38-year-old hiker from Slovakia went for a hike in the High Tatras mountain range in Slovakia.
During the trip, Nunuk decided to record their exciting discovery when they came across the frozen lake
When Nunuk brought his camera lens toward the surface of the frozen lake they were walking on, it appeared that the icy surface was absolutely see-through
The rocks located at the bottom could be clearly seen in the video
When Nunuk posted the video titled “Walking on beautiful clean ice in Slovakian Mountains” on YouTube, his video quickly went viral as it gained more than half a million views in just a few days.
Many viewers were impressed by the breathtaking footage that shows as if the hikers were walking on an ice sheet
However, if you are planning to go on such hiking and experience walking on a frozen lake, it is best to test whether or not the lake has completely frozen
There are possibilities that there may be underwater areas that have not completely frozen so it is best to test the frozen surface as you move across the surface.
