Passengers flying to and from the Greater Rochester International Airport in New York are getting live entertainment free of charge. One aircraft marshaller who works there is now garnering major media attention for his dance moves in a video that went super viral on Facebook.
Tarmac worker Kryan Ashford is passionate about marshalling aircraft, but even more so is he dedicated to making passengers smile.
As a flight taxies across the runway, voyagers look out the window and catch Kryan dancing with his signals, marching rhythmically to the sound of his own beat.

The video was captured by none other than country music singer Terry McBride, and he then posted it on his Facebook page. In less than a week, the lively and amusing post garnered over 10 million views and was shared over 150 thousand times online.
“So this just happened out my window as I was leaving New York headed back home to Nashville,” McBride wrote in his caption. “This guy rocks!”
The Jet Stream Ground Services aircraft marshaller has been working at Rochester International Airport for five years, and, apparently, he is often seen dancing on the job to the delight of onlookers.
It’s said you can catch him busting rhymes, too, while reading out flight boarding instructions at the gate.
When asked about his motivation for entertaining travelers, he said, “If I can just make somebody, at least one person, smile and turn their day around, then I am good. I did my job.”
“Everything I’ve been doing, that’s all a part of who I am,” he said. “My mother raised me to be the type of man to walk around with great character, and that people should never be ashamed of who they are.”
Then Ashford added: “You don’t know why these people are flying out … they could be going to a funeral.”
