Not many people are lucky and talented enough to earn Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer so when 11-year-old Tyler Butler-Figueroa won Simon’s heart, everyone knew he was extraordinary!
Recently, the North Carolina native surprised everyone with his violin skills on America’s Got Talent stage.
While Tyler may be only 11, he played his violin so well that everyone in the audience that night and at home was amused by his performance, including the judges.
However, that was not the only extraordinary about Tyler.
The boy actually took up playing the violin after he was bullied at school at the age of four for having leukemia.

It was tough for young Tyler to cope with the treatment as he began to lose his hair and getting bullied at school for it.

According to Tyler, there were some students at the school who spread rumors that his cancer was contagious, leaving him alone at school.
However, he later regained his strength and motivation after he saw an advertisement for free violin lessons after school.

He was only seven when he started playing the violin.
“I would just practice in my bedroom and the more I did it the better I got,” he said.
“When I play the violin, it helps me forget the bad stuff.”
Fast forward four years later, Tyler now plays the violin like a pro and apart of helping him to overcome his ordeal of getting bullied and diagnosed with cancer, he is going to Hollywood!

Apparently, everyone instantly fell in love with him as soon as he played “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger” with his violin.
He even managed to get Simon Cowell to become his fan too when he gave him his Golden Buzzer!
