Virginia Padilla Roble from Mandaue City, Philipines is an elderly teacher who unfortunately had her left forearm broken. She was brought in for treatment at the Perpetual Succour Hospital. Little did she know, an ex-student of hers is currently working there.
Upon checkout after completing her treatment, she was getting ready to pay when she saw the receipt. What was written on it was absolutely heartwarming.

Dr. Dilbert Monicit, her student from 22 years ago wrote, “Dear Madam Roble, professional fee—paid 22 years ago (one of my favorite teacher!).”
What a pleasant surprise to find that a student who looked up to her during her teaching days had treated her for free!
64-year-old Madam Roble posted the receipt to Facebook, “I got this note from the nurses’ station. Thank you for the early Christmas gift, Dr. Dilbert Monicit. Thank you for being there.”
The Perpetual Succour Hospital also shared her post on their page and added, “PSH thanks Dr. Dilbert Monicit for taking excellent care of his patients. He has truly exemplified the real meaning of Christmas—the time to inspire people and the time to express gratitude to those who have made a difference in our lives in more ways than one.”
There is no doubt that Madam Roble had been an amazing teacher to have left such a deep impression and long-lasting influence on her student from over 20 years ago.
Her students are fortunate to have her, and she, them.
