“How’s this for a baby boom? Nine of our nurses (8 of whom are in this photo) are expecting babies between April and July! Congratulations!” Maine Medical Center posted on Facebook.

Baby boom! They’re holding cards which have their due dates on them—they’re all due to give birth between April and July, how sweet!

They all are glowing and look super excited to be going through the journey of motherhood together.

“It’s really nice coming to work and seeing other people who are just as pregnant and watching their bellies pop and just talking about these experiences that we are going through together,” Amanda Spear, one of the nurses, told WMTW.

“After each one of us started to say, ‘We’re pregnant,’ I think it was a happier kind of announcement each time, and we’re all there for each other,” nurse Erin Grenier told WMTW.

Nurse Samantha Giglio, who is pregnant for the second time, said she is glad everyone can look out for each other.

“It was more exciting each time seeing who else was pregnant. It’s comforting knowing we’ll be taking care of each other,” she told News Center Maine.

Some people were worried about there being a possible lack of staff in the summer because the nurses would take maternity leave.

But the hospital quickly reassured everyone, and said, “Don’t worry! We have a plan.”

We wish the nurses all the best and hope the deliveries go smoothly! Congratulations!
