Eggs are truly a versatile food that can be cooked in many ways one can imagine. Poaching, boiling, and frying are some of the most popular ways to cook eggs.
However, do you know that you can also cook eggs in an underground pit?
Apparently, these children are in for an amazing cooking lesson as they get to learn how to cook eggs in an underground pit. Even though the cooking process is anything but simple, it is a great way to teach them to think out of the box.
First, they begin by digging a hole until it looks like a small cave. Then they dig another smaller hole on top of the cave
The tiny cave acts like a stove which the children then proceed to put some burning sticks into it to create a fire.
In the meantime, the smaller hole is where they place the eggs on a nice stack
After the smaller hole is fully covered with eggs, the children then covered the eggs with some green leaves and mud layer
Some holes are later made through the mud layer to let the steam out during the cooking process
When the eggs are cooked, remove the mud and the leaves. The eggs are then ready to be enjoyed
Everyone looks so eager to eat the smoked hard-boiled eggs. We bet it must have tasted delicious!
