This is the terrifying moment two police helicopters were completely destroyed after their rotor blades accidentally collided.
The footage believed to be taken at Pasadena Police Department base in California shows one helicopter preparing to take-off while another helicopter comes to land next to it.
The first few seconds see that the landing helicopter appears to be landing in a safe distance away from the other helicopter
However, the helicopter swerves closer to the stationary helicopter, leading to their rotors to brush each other and resulting in a catastrophe
Both aircraft were completely destroyed with the rotor blades flying apart in different directions
Luckily, no one was severely injured in the accident.
