Dante is a fourth-grade student. One day, his teacher picked him to lead the class to practice walking in a line.
Dante led his classmates as they practised walking in a line in the hallway.
Suddenly, his teacher asked him to stop and said to him: “There’s someone here to congratulate you for doing such a great job. Turn around.”
When he turned around, he was surprised to see his mother standing right behind him!
Dante had not seen his mother for a year when the surprise happened. His mother works in the military and it had been a year since his mother was deployed far away from their home
When she got to return home, his mother wanted to surprise her son. So, she asked for Dante’s teacher for a help and the two planned a surprise for the boy.
His mother hid in the hallway and crept up behind him when Dante led the class in a line
When Dante saw his mother, it took him a few seconds to realise that his mother was standing in front of him for real
He later embraced his mother as his mother said to him: “Mommy’s back, okay?”
