Meet the real-life Rapunzel, Aliia Nasyrova who never cut her hair for two decades.
The 27-year-old Russian native has 90-inch long hair and her extremely long locks weigh around two kilograms—about the same weight as her pet cat.
Aliia said that she began to keep her hair long after being inspired by heroines from fairy tales
Even though she is proud of her long hair, it requires a high maintenance since it needs a lot of space in her bed and a full day to air dry.
She also admits that her hair has put a strain on her neck
However, she refuses to chop her hair and so does her husband, Ivan Balaban. The couple even schedules a few days off to wash and detangle her hair.
