New Zealand-born Joseph Herscher is a huge fan of Rube Goldberg machine, a machine that uses a series of chain reactions to complete a simple task.

Hence, it is not a surprise that he came up with this interesting creation that duplicates the famous machine.

The machine which includes a hammer, melting butter, a falling laptop and a baby is his most complex machine ever 

It took three months to be completed

In the caption for the video, he writes: “I hate waiting for dessert, so here’s a Rube Goldberg machine to streamline dinnertime. It lets me keep eating, with no break before cake.”

In spite of how complicated the machine looks like, it only has one purpose—to serve him a slice of cake!
