When the owner of this dog simulates having a seizure, her dog promptly comes to her aid and she has got it all on camera. Colt, which is the name of the dog in the video, is more than just a family companion because he is trained to help his owner in case she experiences a seizure.
Janaye, the woman in the video, suffers from severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) which causes her to have seizures. When she falls to the floor during her episodes, there is a high potential for her to suffer from further brain injury.
That is why she has Colt, a fully-trained service dog whose job is to protect his owner’s head from hitting the floor.
Janaye writes on YouTube saying “He is trained to do this in a certain way that keeps both him and me safe”
Even if the floor is slippery and Colt has trouble getting himself in position, he does not give up
