There’s a reason why the idiom “fighting like cats and dogs” exists and it is because these two animal species have been at each others tails for ages.
They are natural born enemies and cannot seem to get along with each other.
Both these animals are always trying to show each other which of them is the stronger species and cannot stay in the same vicinity for long.
With this being said, their quarrels can be extremely hilarious. They are so absurd, they will make you laugh out loud.
