In the last few years, pre-wedding photos have become a popular demand among young couples and many brides-to-be believe that they cannot have great pre-wedding photos without donning an expensive designer wedding dress which could cost between $1,000 to $3,800.
However, this photographer challenged the notion to prove that a skilled photographer is what makes the pre-wedding album good and not an expensive dress.
And he definitely proved it!
Recently, the Malaysia-based photographer, Keow Wee Loong met an experienced photographer at a wedding fair in Mid Valley Megamall where the seasoned photographer claimed that one cannot have good pre-wedding photos without a designer wedding dress.
However, Keow believes that the cost of a wedding dress is not as important as a highly skilled photographer so he set out to prove that one can have amazing pre-wedding photos with just a cheap dress.
Keow and his wife, Marta then bought two inexpensive dresses at a clothing shop in Kuala Lumpur.
The two dresses only cost him about $20!
Later that night, the couple travelled to the scenic Cameron Highlands at 12 am so that they could arrive in time to do the photoshoot challenge with the sunrise in the background
His wife, Marta posed as the model for the dresses
They then returned back to Kuala Lumpur at 1 pm.
By 9 pm on the same day, Keow had edited and uploaded the photos he took on Facebook and the results were completely breathtaking!
Following his post, Keow said that it was important for couples to spend their wedding budget on a good photographer instead of on a designer dress
This was not the first time Keow demonstrated his amazing photography skills.
He is known for his creative takes on pre-wedding shots
Last December, he turned the crater of Ijen volcano complex in Indonesia into a magnificent backdrop for a newlywed’s photoshoot
Looking at his gorgeous photos, we have no doubt that Keow has certainly won the challenge!
